An award-winning a cappella show chorus with more than 65 years of history in the Greater Atlanta area, Song of Atlanta is affiliated with Sweet Adelines International (SAI) and performs at regional and international competitions as well as community events throughout the metro. The chorus placed second at the 2025 Sweet Adelines International competition and earned third place at the international event held in Phoenix, Arizona in Fall 2022, described by the organization as their highest placement ever. Under the current director’s tenure, the group has accumulated eight top-ten finishes at the international level, placing it among the more decorated Atlanta-area performance ensembles in its discipline.
Director Becki Hine has led the chorus since 1993 and achieved official Master Director status in 1999. She holds the Master 700 Director designation and is a Certified Judge in Visual Communications for Sweet Adelines International, bringing formal adjudication credentials alongside her performance direction role. The chorus comprises diverse women singers who build harmonies across a varied repertoire spanning multiple musical styles.
Weekly rehearsals take place Tuesday evenings at 7:00 PM at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church, located at 805 Mount Vernon Highway, Atlanta, GA 30327. Guests and prospective members are welcome to attend rehearsals before committing to membership or auditions. The chorus accepts performance bookings for outside events. A Members Only portal is managed through Groupanizer, and a Meet-Up page provides event scheduling details for participants.
