Business Improvement District – Midtown Alliance

Midtown Alliance is the nonprofit business improvement district organization managing, planning, and advocating for the Midtown Atlanta corridor, headquartered at 999 Peachtree Street, Suite 730, Atlanta, GA 30309. The organization coordinates a comprehensive set of programs spanning physical infrastructure investment, public safety operations, environmental sustainability, arts and culture promotion, and long-range strategic planning across one of Atlanta’s densest and most commercially active urban districts.

Public safety services are delivered through Midtown Blue, a dedicated district patrol program, reachable at 404-817-0500. The Clean + Green initiative addresses streetscape maintenance and sustainability goals throughout the district. The Blueprint Midtown strategic plan guides long-term land use, mobility, and development priorities. Heart of the Arts programming supports the cultural institutions, performance venues, and creative activities that define the neighborhood’s character.

Infrastructure investment is a central organizational focus. Midtown Alliance currently oversees approximately $15 million in transportation improvement projects scheduled for completion in 2026. The organization regularly publishes analytical reports covering district health, including the 2025 Progress Report, dedicated traffic safety analysis, and detailed crime statistics. The website notes that crime in Midtown is currently at record-low levels.

A proprietary mobile application, IN*MidtownATL, connects residents, employees, and visitors to district event listings, services, and real-time neighborhood information. Midtown Alliance maintains an active annual calendar of programming including concerts, sports activities, dining experiences, and family-friendly events throughout the year. The 2026 Annual Meeting was held in April at the Fox Theatre and drew more than 800 area business and civic leaders.

Cultural and recreational landmarks within the Midtown Alliance district include Piedmont Park, the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and Atlanta Symphony Hall. Membership programs, young professionals networking events, and commute alternative resources round out the suite of services available to workers and businesses in the area.

Midtown Alliance maintains active channels on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. Additional reporting and district news are published continuously at midtownatl.com.
