True Worship Christian Fellowship holds services at 2033 Joseph E. Boone Boulevard NW in Atlanta, Georgia 30314, a historically significant corridor on the city’s west side. The congregation was founded by Rev. Dr. Clifton Dawkins, who earned his Bachelor of Arts from Morris College in Sumter, South Carolina and completed seminary training at I.T.C. Seminary in Atlanta. Sunday worship services are held at 11:30 AM and are livestreamed on Facebook for members unable to attend in person.
Dr. Dawkins’s pastoral work extends well beyond Sunday services. For more than a decade, he has coordinated homeless feeding initiatives in downtown Atlanta, providing consistent meal service to the city’s unhoused population. He also serves as Chaplain Director for the Fulton County Government Center, where he oversees approximately 300 indigent burials annually and provides grief counseling to families and individuals navigating those circumstances. His broader community contributions have been recognized by Atlanta Magazine, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and by the Mayor of Atlanta through the Phoenix Award. Dr. Dawkins holds memberships in Prince Hall Masonry, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, the NAACP, and the SCLC, and was inducted into the Morehouse College M.L.K. International Board of Preachers in 2009.
The church hosts Angie’s Kitchen, a nonprofit meal program launched in September 2021 in partnership with Vernon Krause and the Krause Auto Group. Angie’s Kitchen operates Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM and Saturdays from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, providing daily hot meals to unhoused and food-insecure individuals in the Atlanta area.
