Cultural Festival Organization – Atlanta Korean Festival

Established in 2009 by the Korean American Association of Greater Atlanta, the Atlanta Korean Festival is an annual event held at 5900 Brook Hollow Parkway in Norcross, Georgia, within the Atlanta metropolitan area. The organization describes the festival as the most powerful event in the Southeast region for promoting Korean heritage and bringing together ethnic communities from across the region.

The festival takes place across 112,000 square feet of event space and draws approximately 35,000 attendees each year. Programming features Korean traditional dances, live music, K-POP performances, martial arts demonstrations, and traditional games. Stage programming involves 328 performers. Children’s activities include face-painting, balloon animals, and group singing of Arirang. A total of 96 vendor booths offer Korean foods, arts, crafts, and goods, with most vendors accepting credit cards.

General admission is priced at $10 per person, available for purchase at the gate or in advance through Eventbrite. Attendees who arrive wearing Hanbok, the traditional Korean costume, receive free admission. Parking is provided at the Korean Community Center on-site and at the Global Church lot across the street.

The organization’s stated mission is to promote harmony among different ethnic groups and generations through cultural exchange, celebrating Korean heritage while welcoming the broader Atlanta-area community. The festival’s scope extends across the metro’s diverse population, functioning as a gathering point for Korean Americans and other communities throughout Georgia and the Southeast.
