A 6,000-square-foot wood shop and art gallery in West Midtown Atlanta houses Atlanta Art Solutions, a family-run business specializing in custom picture framing, fine art printing, and a wide range of related art fabrication services. The company is located at 1234 Logan Circle NW and is led by owner Matthew Bouchane, a Kennesaw State University School of Fine Art graduate with 20 years of involvement in the Atlanta art community. The firm was recognized as “Atlanta’s Top Frame Shop 2019” and recently merged with Professional Photo Resources to expand its service capabilities.
The core framing operation includes an in-house frame shop sourcing moulding from Decor Moulding, Studio Moulding, and Omega Moulding suppliers, giving clients access to an extensive selection of frame profiles and finishes. Custom art plaques serve as an alternative to traditional framing for clients who prefer a mounted presentation. The company produces stretched canvas products in frame thicknesses ranging from three-quarters of an inch to two inches, with gallery wrap and museum wrap finishing options.
Plexiglass display solutions are available in polished or beveled edge configurations with stand-off mounting hardware. Board mounting is offered on four substrates: Foam Core, Gator Board, Sintra, and Dibond. Film lamination handles materials up to 60 inches wide. On the printing side, Atlanta Art Solutions produces fine art giclee prints, flat and folded cards, books, calendars, promotional products, headshots and comp cards, press prints, and posters. Art reproduction scanning, film and photo scanning, image editing, and retouching round out the digital service offering. The firm also manufactures custom art cradles and plein air panels on-site using Claessens canvases.
