Atlanta Cycling Festival is a community-focused cycling organization that has connected bicyclists of all ages and experience levels across Atlanta since 2014. The festival’s recurring events include Third Thursday Rides held monthly at Halfway Crooks Brewery beginning at 6:30 PM, the flagship ACF Festival spanning an annual week-long celebration (scheduled May 9-16, 2026 for its 12th edition), and a Fall Bike Camping trip each October. The organization also coordinates monthly community rides, bicycle camping outings, and the ACF Yucatan Adventure program for those seeking travel experiences on two wheels.
Beyond organized rides, Atlanta Cycling Festival maintains a robust resource hub for Atlanta-area cyclists. This includes curated route maps, a directory of local bicycle shops, listings of group rides throughout the city, riding tips, and profiles of Atlanta cycling organizations. Ride guidelines emphasize a “no drop” policy ensuring no participant is left behind, mandatory helmet recommendations, required night lights for evening rides, and community etiquette practices including calling out road hazards and following ride leaders.
