Georgia Massage School offers one of the metro area’s more accessible paths into the massage therapy profession, with a six-month certification program structured around half-day classes designed to accommodate students who are working or managing other responsibilities. The school is located at 2800 Horizon Ridge Court, Suite 275, in Suwanee, Georgia, situating it within the Atlanta metro’s northern suburbs and within reach of Gwinnett and Forsyth County residents.
The curriculum was designed by nationally recognized educators and is endorsed by industry leaders. The school promotes a no-homework format, allowing students to absorb technical instruction during class hours without outside assignments. Tuition is positioned as competitive, with the school stating it offers some of the lowest rates in the metro Atlanta area among massage therapy certification programs.
Instruction is delivered by owner-educators who serve as the primary instructors, drawing on professional practice experience to prepare students for entry-level work and licensure. After completing the program, graduates are eligible to sit for the national certification examination administered by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. The school holds approval from three regulatory and professional bodies: the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission, the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and the Georgia Board of Massage Therapy. The program qualifies for Veterans Education Benefits.
Beyond the core certification course, the school operates an on-site massage clinic providing hands-on client contact hours and also hosts continuing education offerings for credentialed practitioners. School hours run Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with Saturday and Sunday reserved exclusively for continuing education.
