Flourish Pediatrics brings more than 20 years of physician experience to pediatric care across two Atlanta-area locations: 8601 Dunwoody Place, Suite 565 in Sandy Springs, and 3143 East Shadowlawn Ave in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta. The practice is led by Dr. Shayna Roaf, MD, who holds board certifications in Pediatric Emergency Medicine, General Pediatrics, and Lifestyle Medicine, a combination that positions the clinic to address both acute and long-term wellness needs for children.
The practice takes a “personalized whole-body approach to pediatric health and wellness,” emphasizing lifestyle medicine that explores root causes of health concerns through sleep quality, diet, exercise, stress management, and social connectedness. The clinical environment is described as judgment-free, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based care and building long-term relationships with patients and their families.
Standard services include well-child visits, developmental screening, medication refills, and vaccine administration for disease prevention. Telemedicine appointments are offered alongside in-person visits, and online registration is available for new and returning patients. Educational classes and programs are also part of the practice’s offerings to support family health knowledge.
Hours at both locations run Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, with a midday lunch break from 12:30 to 1:30 pm. The Buckhead location adds Tuesday afternoon appointments from 1:00 to 5:00 pm along with seasonal Saturday availability. After-hours nurse triage is available for non-emergent concerns at a $25 per-call fee.
Accepted insurance carriers include Humana, Aetna, Cigna, Anthem BlueCross, UnitedHealthcare, and Coventry, among others. The practice is currently accepting new patients.
