Atlanta International Table Tennis Academy (AITTA) operates out of a dedicated training facility at 7230 McGinnis Ferry Rd, Suite 125, Suwanee, Georgia 30024, serving the greater Atlanta metro area. The academy is led by Head Coach Shigang Yang, a former U.S. Certified National Coach who also holds the position of U.S. Junior Boy Head Coach. AITTA offers instruction for players at every level, from complete beginners building foundational skills to competitive athletes preparing for national tournaments.
Training programs include group coaching sessions, private one-on-one lessons, and seasonal camps. Summer break camps run June through July 2026 and spring break camps are offered in April 2026, each priced between $300 and $320 per week. Early registration and multi-week enrollment discounts are available. Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian signature at registration. The academy describes its approach as personalized instruction tailored to each student’s current skill level, with an emphasis on eventual improvement in technique, hand-eye coordination, and mental sharpness for competition.
The facility provides safe, indoor, climate-controlled training spaces. AITTA is an official Butterfly equipment retailer, carrying gear from one of the sport’s most recognized brands. The academy also partners with Major League Table Tennis (MLTT), the first professional table tennis league in the United States, hosting MLTT Minor League tournaments on site.
Competitive achievements from AITTA athletes include medals at the 2025 U.S. Open and the 2025 Joola North American Championships. At the 2025 Georgia Games, the academy’s players combined for 11 gold, 9 silver, and 8 bronze medals. These results reflect AITTA’s standing as one of the more prominent competitive training programs in the Atlanta region.
