Atlanta Used Cooking Oil Services has been collecting and recycling used cooking oil across the greater Atlanta area since 1970, accumulating over 40 years of experience in commercial grease management. The company serves a broad range of food service clients including restaurants, supermarkets, schools, universities, hotels, and churches throughout the Atlanta metro region.
Core service lines include used cooking oil pickup and recycling, commercial grease trap cleaning and maintenance, and cooking oil equipment design and installation. The firm provides customizable storage containers ranging from 110 to 300-plus gallons, as well as fully automated systems that enable contactless grease removal. Equipment is built with anti-tamper locks, mesh screens, and leak-proof construction to protect against theft and spillage, a relevant concern given the firm’s note that as much as $75 million worth of used cooking oil is stolen nationally each year.
Operations run 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The company uses a fleet of company-owned vehicles with onboard routing logistics, and licensed technicians typically complete each collection in approximately 15 minutes depending on tank size and volume. Subcontractors are not used at any stage.
Collected oil is processed through more than 80 biosecure facilities across Georgia, where it is converted into biodiesel, animal feed additives, biofuels, and industrial solvents. Qualified establishments may participate in a rebate program, receiving credits based on usable oil volume, with typically 70 to 80 percent of collected material qualifying. Emergency response services are available for overflows and spills.
The company also accepts residential drop-offs at its recycling facility, although residential home pickup is not currently offered. Free estimates and on-site consultations are available. Contact: (404) 609-1655.
