Located at 299 N Highland Ave NE, Suite T, in Atlanta’s historic Inman Park neighborhood, VinoTeca ATL has operated as a retail wine shop and community gathering space since opening in October 2015. Current sole owner Katie Rice has led the business since 2022, shaping its focus on small-production wineries and accessible wine education.
The retail selection emphasizes natural, organic, and biodynamic wines from small producers around the world. VinoTeca carries a particularly notable Spanish wine collection, developed through a partnership with Barcelona Wine Bar. Customers can shop in-store, arrange local delivery, or use curbside pickup for their orders.
Wine education is central to VinoTeca’s daily operations. The shop offers walk-in tastings every day until one hour before closing, except during scheduled private events. Three 3-ounce pours are priced at $15 per person, with the tasting lineup rotating weekly starting each Thursday. Seating is available both indoors and on the outdoor patio on a first-come, first-served basis.
Private event hosting is another significant offering. The venue accommodates corporate team-building, birthday celebrations, and social gatherings, with experienced sommeliers and wine stewards on hand to lead guided tastings tailored to the group. VinoTeca partners with the Atlanta Musicians Collective to present live music “At the Curbside” on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoons, adding an entertainment dimension to the Inman Park location’s regular programming.
